Cristel is a dual board-certified nurse practitioner — certified in both family practice and adult-gerontology acute care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of South Alabama and came to hormone medicine from an acute-care hospital background, the training her second certification rests on.
She joined Ascension Center for Women's Health to lead our peptide therapy program — lab-based, physician-supervised, and never an online order form. Alongside peptides, she sees patients for hormone therapy and pellets, and medical weight loss — first visits in Gonzales, follow-ups by video anywhere in Louisiana.
Much of her work centers on the years when energy, sleep, metabolism, and strength start to shift — and on the detailed lab work that explains why. She practices under Dr. Adams' clinical leadership, so patients get the same standard of care and continuity at every visit.
