Ascension Center for Women's Health Now Offers Emsella for Pelvic Floor Wellness in Gonzales, Louisiana
A non-invasive, chair-based option gives eligible patients in the Baton Rouge area new support for pelvic floor wellness — part of the practice's women's health and menopause care.
GONZALES, La. — June 26, 2026 — Ascension Center for Women's Health (ACWH), an independent, physician-owned women's health and hormone practice serving the Gonzales and greater Baton Rouge area since 2005, announced it now offers Emsella, a non-invasive technology designed to stimulate the pelvic floor muscles, as part of its pelvic wellness services.
Emsella uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology delivered through a specialized treatment chair. During a session, eligible patients remain fully clothed and seated while the device works to stimulate the pelvic floor muscles. Emsella is an FDA-cleared device.
Pelvic floor weakening is common, particularly after childbirth and around menopause, and can contribute to urinary leakage and reduced bladder support. Emsella expands ACWH's pelvic wellness care for women across life stages, when clinically appropriate.
Individuals interested in learning more can request a complimentary hormone and wellness call window through the ACWH website. The complimentary call window is for scheduling and care navigation only and is not a medical visit; clinical appropriateness is determined by an ACWH provider.
